Banking Services with Unity Bank

The Maritime Workers of Australia formed Unity in 1970 as a Member-Owned cooperative that could secure wharfie and seafarers loans when the big banks refused. Since then, the Bank has grown to cover more workers in more industries – including power, mining, forestry and energy.

Today Unity Bank has over 40,000 members and offers every service you’d expect from a big bank – but unlike the big banks, Unity puts your interest first. Always.

Unity remains 100% owned by Unity members – by you.
