PETER MOONEY

Peter Mooney serves as the ETU Organiser for Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley, operating out of the ETU office in Morwell. His jurisdiction spans the entire Gippsland region, from Pakenham to the New South Wales border. Peter’s responsibilities encompass metals, manufacturing, oil and gas, water, contracting, the power industry, and major construction projects in the area. Peter oversees all offshore operations in Bass Strait (East and West), including construction projects, operations, maintenance, and contractor management. This oversight includes all four Esso sites and their associated contractors. He leads the renegotiation of Power Industry Generation Site Agreements for Snowy Hydro, EnergyAustralia, and AGL assets in Victoria and supports bargaining efforts at Saputo dairy sites across the state.
