Cbus has a proud history as one of Australia's first industry funds. We were formed in 1984 when construction andbuilding workers won the right to superannuation and established BUS and AUST (later merged to form Cbus).

Today, Cbus is the leading Industry Super Fund for the building, construction and allied industries.
As one of Australia’s largest super funds, we provide superannuation and income stream accounts to more than 765,000 members and we manage over $59 billion of our members’ money (as at 31 December 2020). Our members include workers and retirees, their families and employers.
Cbus is a significant investor in the Australian economy. We continue to grow our investment in both infrastructure and property assets in Australia and overseas. Our property development company, Cbus Property, provides a unique opportunity to build commercial and residential property across the country and create jobs for our members.
